frauMaier - colorful lamps from the little dog lady
frauMaier is a young up-and-coming German designer label from Esslingen near Stuttgart. The company owner and chief designer Felix Severin Mack steps into the background and lets a little dog lady present the popular, colorful lamps. frauMaier offers a variety of different floor lamps, pendants and table lamps.
Cheerful colors - good design at fair prices
Clear shapes and lines, cheerful colors and a certain lightness make the lamps of frauMaier distinctive. The label's goal is to offer good design at fair prices. The weightless floating and almost graphic floor lamp SLIMSOPHIE by frauMaier is simple and timeless. The filigree steel wire legs, on which the fabric-covered lampshade sits, give the lamp a wonderful lightness that allows it to adapt to any space. This is supported by the diverse choice between numerous colors. A lot smaller, but with the same concept of simple functionality is the smaller sister frauMaier MINISOPHIE. This table lamp also does not come up short when it comes to color selection.
With numerous colors, the Minisophie sets bright accents in its surroundings. Just like its sisters, frauMaier Minisophie is made of a powder-coated steel wire frame and a shade made of high-quality cotton chintz. The materials do not distract from the essentials and allow the brilliant colors to dominate.
Company founder Felix Severin Mack explains what is important to him in an interview with BlogZine:
"For one thing, the love of color. We have a color palette that no one can compete with in the lighting sector. And it's in stock! We make sure that our products have a price that customers could name in their gut without knowing it. So, in the best sense, they are products that are worth their price. In addition, for me, manufacturing in Europe has a great future. We manufacture exclusively here, which is very important to us. Why? Because it works. It takes effort, but it works, and you have a responsibility for what happens to European countries in the future. I don't want American conditions here, I want as much manufacturing here as possible." Sustainable production, high-quality material and absolute individuality, that's frauMaier
