When having a meal with family or friends, a delicious dessert such as a quark dish, a pudding or fresh fruit is usually not to be missed. Small cakes are just as popular. There are special dessert spoons, dessert knives and small cake forks for these little treats. In many cases, the spoons and knives can also be used for the appetizers. A dessert cutlery set is usually made of stainless steel, but is also available in particularly fine silver-plated versions. In addition, there are numerous designs to choose from.

Spoons, forks and knives as small cutlery

Dessert spoons are similar to coffee spoons. However, they are usually somewhat flatter, so that soft food such as pudding does not get stuck in the hollows. Dessert knives and forks, on the other hand, differ from other cutlery mainly in their smaller size. They are usually used in combination with cutlery and are therefore ideally from the same collection to create a uniform appearance on the table. In principle, however, it is also possible to use a different cutlery and serve it to guests together with the dessert.
