VS Manufaktur Lamps

Florian Schulz luminaires - handcrafted highlights, convincing design, beautiful light

The Florian Schulz brand stands for luminaires of the highest value and quality, both in terms of form, style and design, as well as function and usability. Their materials and craftsmanship are outstanding. As a traditional company based in southern Germany, Florian Schulz is committed to the fundamental ideas of Bauhaus and Werkbund: Here, artistic design and quality craftsmanship are creatively combined. The result is beautifully shaped, functional, high-quality and durable luminaires that hold their own in almost any living environment.

Florian Schulz - functional lamps in excellent design

All luminaires by Florian Schulz are characterized by an excellent, tasteful and sophisticated design down to the last detail. Here the proportions are right. The shapes are coordinated, simple and yet with their own weight. In this way, in fact, "light sculptures" are created, which are independent without taking themselves too important, which have character and yet adapt very well to the most diverse styles of living. This is also supported by the variability of the available material. Therefore, even with a long "coexistence" with Florian Schulz lamps will be pleased again and again about subtleties of tasteful design. Because these lamps are, according to Schulz's understanding of design and production, intended "... for lifelong use".

Florian Schulz - Quality in material and production

An important characteristic of the lamps of Florian Schulz is beside their design the material. All lights are made of solid brass, which is offered in various finishes and also with LED bulbs. Important here are five variants. Two of them put the metal brass with its specific color in the foreground. There is this brass surface both polished and lacquered and matt brushed and lacquered. In addition, there are also the variants of nickel-plated brass in the shiny and polished, but also in the matte brushed game. Finally, there is the very clear version: chrome-plated brass. With these different variants of the metal color and the surface, the lights of Florian Schulz get a very variable appearance and can thus be matched very nicely to the appropriate room and place of use. It is amazing how with these different surfaces one and the same model can appear in a completely different light. All metals are relatively insensitive to scratches and stresses; cleaning should be done carefully and not with aggressive agents. With good treatment, the surfaces of the lamps of Florian Schulz can be enjoyed for a long time. Florian Schulz is so quality-conscious, by the way, that this company also offers refurbishment of its products, just in case. Florian Schulz also uses excellent materials for table lamps or lamps with fabric shades: China silk, Thai silk and for special color accents also other fabric materials.

Florian Schulz - sophisticated technology: Made in Germany

All these materials are processed at Florian Schulz with great quality awareness. In the foreground is the elaborate handwork. This material-conscious production is then matched by the use of sophisticated technology and convenient extras. Touch dimmer, electronic touch control, integrated charging station for iPhones in various table lamps and work lamps are technical refinements that inspire. Of course, future-proof energy-efficient lighting technology has also been thought of. Thus, Florian Schulz combines form, quality and function at the highest level and can proudly and rightly point out that this company works and produces exclusively in Germany, fully living up to the value "Made in Germany". Yes even more: Florian Schulz - a family business in the fourth generation - has its headquarters in Ludwigsburg in southern Germany. And you can already sense the Swabian virtues of tinkering, craftsmanship thoroughness and functional perfection in these luminaires. After all, the factories of Porsche and Mercedes are barely 30 km away. "Made in Suebia" - Swabian quality workmanship ...
