The young company mammalampa specializes in unusual, exquisite lamps. Its headquarters are in the Lithuanian capital Riga. The spirit of optimism of this country can also be felt in the progressive creativity of mammalampa. The spectrum of mammlampa's production is highly concentrated; it currently consists of five lines. These are consistently fascinating, extremely convincing and impressive - and each in its own right amazing and astonishing.

mammalampa- the Bride

One of mammalampa's lines - pendant, table and floor lamps, tellingly named Bride - is composed of loose-filling, elegant paper fabric and enchants with delicate and soft shapes and a correspondingly soft, harmonious lighting. The result is a very original, delicate light sculpture.

mammalampa - the Queen

Another collection presents a simple hemisphere, open at the bottom. Its visual appeal lies in the simple contrast of rusty brown and gold: the outer surface is made of corroded steel, the inner curvature is high quality gold-plated. Thus, one gets the impression that the interior of this luminaire consists only of light. This is a - in its simple conception - magnificent royal lamp.

mammalampa - the Wise one

Another collection - also available as a floor lamp and pendant - thrives on a comparably simple contrast: the wall of a cylindrical block of wood is so finely milled on the outside and inside that it allows the light from the bulb to shine through. Only at one point on the outside of this cylinder is a strip of the wood left in its natural, rustic solidity. The Wise one is a fitting name for this mysteriously rustic and precious lamp.

Another very different collection gets its charm from very individual processing. The lampshades - available in two sizes - are slightly tapered and made of fabric, and this canvas is freely hand-painted in varying and finely coordinated colors: in this way, these lamps play charmingly together and give an interestingly alternating light as luminous abstract images.

mammalampa - the Duchess

The Duchess collection takes up the idea of the Queen, but varies the basic idea in a new, highly original way. Again it is about the shape of a hemisphere; this time, of course, only in the hanging variety. It is not the tension of contrasting surfaces that creates the optical attraction here. Rather, Swarowski crystals are repeatedly integrated into the surface, which is covered throughout with marble chips - there is an anthracite gray and a white version. This creates a fascinating luminaire structure with fascinating light.
