Sideboards with plenty of storage space

Sideboards are chests of drawers, which are designed medium-high to low in height. They present themselves comparatively narrow, but very elongated. Thus, widths between 100 and 200 centimeters and heights of 70 to 100 centimeters can be found. The height usually distinguishes sideboards from high chets, which are usually higher than 100 centimeters. The height of sideboards is extremely practical, as everything can be reached easily. At the same time, a sideboard always impresses with its length, which provides plenty of storage space. In addition to a TV and other entertainment electronics, vases, bowls and more are ideal for decorating. Ample storage space offers the interior of sideboards, which is often further divided by partitions and shelves.

Practical and versatile furniture for the living area

Drawers may also be used in sideboards, but they are not the rule. Alternatively, doors - even for folding - form closed fronts, which can be broken up by open areas. There are many mixed forms, which in some places make sideboards appear as a combination of a chest of drawers and shelves. Among them you can also find completely open fronts. The mostly rectangular sideboards are often made of wood, but MDF and steel are also used. Optionally, there is also lighting for the interior. Sideboards differ from each other by their design. Whether retro look, classic or modern: the variants are diverse. Manufacturers such as Lambert, Neuvonfrisch or Wewood often have sideboards in their portfolio in subtle tones such as brown, black or gray, although colorful accents in red or yellow can also be found.
