Müller Möbelwerkstätten - traditional company open for modern design

For over 140 years, Müller Möbelwerkstätten has been manufacturing high-quality furniture. Already in the fifth generation, Dierk Müller and his son Jochen maintain this long tradition of craftsmanship. The company is based in Bockhorn, near Oldenburg. In 1971, the workshops took the decisive step into the modern age and presented their first own design collection at the Cologne Furniture Fair. Since then, the company has worked closely and trustfully with numerous renowned designers, such as Rolf Heide, Florian Gross, Jan Armgardt, Felix Stark, Michael Hilgers and others. Rolf Heide also designed the most famous product of the Möbelwerkstätten: the unmistakable Klassik stacking lounger.

Müller Möbelwerkstätten - harmonious in form and function, material and quality

The classic, modern - after all, manufactured since 1966 - stacking lounger by Müller shows particularly significant the company's understanding of modern furniture. From a brilliant idea, a highly functional, clearly formed and aesthetically pleasing piece of furniture is created from simple, high-quality materials with clear forms. Further examples of the successful implementation of this concept can be found everywhere in the portfolio of Müller Möbelwerkstätten. The company manufactures furniture for all these segments in its workshops in Germany: cabinets, beds, shelves, chairs, couches, side tables, secretaries.

Selected, qualified specialists and modern machinery guarantee the quality of the high-quality products; modern, unobtrusive materials are used - preferably aluminum and plywood. The workshops present their new products at national and international furniture fairs every year. They are sold through selected furniture retailers and mail-order companies. In addition, the company is also active in the field of high-quality store and object construction.

Müller Möbelwerkstätten - awarded for innovative design

With these high standards in draft and execution naturally also the appropriate honors did not wait. Through collaboration with well-known designers, the workshops have received numerous national and international awards for the design and functionality of their furniture. For example, the Konnex shelving system by designer Florian Gross received an award from the German Design Council for its concept of mobile living. The Flatmate secretary by designer Michael Hilgers received several awards: Flatmate received the German Award Design Special for its minimalist design and excellent function, for example, as did the Plane secretary by Felix Stark. Other products received the Interior Innovation Award or the German Design Award.
