Wittmann Vuelta armchair 80
Wittmann Möbelwerkstätten is a producer of very exclusive, high-quality furniture. Founded in 1896 in Lower Austria, the company gained international importance in the middle of the last century. The fine and original style of Wittmann furniture was significantly influenced also by the fact that this company cooperates with interesting artists and designers. Guidelines of Wittmann furniture are: perfection of craftsmanship and timeless design. Thus, they fit perfectly into many living situations, but can also be used elegantly as individual pieces.
A highlight in Wittmann's portfolio are the creations of the Spanish artist and designer Jaime Hayon, who is clearly influenced by Viennese Modernism and creates new forms from very different materials. The Vuelta armchair he designed is an element of a whole series of highly original seating furniture; here it is presented in version 80. This version is a touch more generous and voluminous than the Vuelta 70, with which it nevertheless harmonizes beautifully. This armchair surprises and convinces with its unusual proportions, which already signal how comfortable this seating furniture is. On an elegant, four-legged frame sits the voluminous body of the armchair, pivoted. The seat shape is modeled in fine, original rounded forms.
A very successful, original armchair for a variety of modern living situations. However, it is also convincing as a solitaire - as a small, beautifully designed, monolithic home sculpture, so to speak. Interesting is the combination with the somewhat more petite armchair Vuelta 72.
