Zeitraum 1.3 chair American walnut
The Zeitraum company, based in Wolfratshausen, offers mainly beautiful furniture made of solid wood. It collaborates with many freelance designers and some design studios when developing new products. Therefore, the collection 1.3 was designed by Kihyun Kim in 2012. He developed an ensemble consisting of a chair, a stool and a bar stool. A distinctive feature of this furniture series are the very thin-looking seats with fine contour lines that almost seem to float. The backrests are also worked according to the same principle.
The chair from Zeitraum's 1.3 collection has a width of 39 centimeters, a depth of 45 centimeters and a height of 79 centimeters. The seat height is 46 centimeters. This elegant piece of furniture is made of American walnut wood with a particularly beautiful grain. Therefore, despite the lightness it exudes, it is very stable and is even used in commercial environments such as bistros. The wood retains its natural hue and is polished by hand.
