Dedon MU

Dedon company, whose headquarters are located in Lüneburg, Germany, was founded in 1990. It developed a synthetic fiber that is woven like a natural material, but is very weather resistant and extremely durable. It uses this innovative material for garden furniture that can be used to furnish balconies and terraces in style. They are manufactured on the island of Cebu in the Philippines, where the art of weaving has a long tradition. For the product design Dedon engages mainly internationally established designers such as Philippe Starck or Jean-Marie Massaud. Furniture from Dedon is therefore a beautiful combination of old craftsmanship and modern design.

The design of the collection Dedon MU comes from Toan Nguyen. He designed numerous modules that can be used to create a smaller or larger lounge for outdoor use, just as you like. Each module has a frame made of Dedon fibers, which are produced in different shades. Further design possibilities arise from the seat and back cushions, which are available in numerous colors. In addition, there are different materials such as cotton, canvas, linen or tweed to choose from.

Dedon MU lounge furniture for outdoors and indoors

The perfect complement to such a lounge is one of the tables in this range. Also in this section Dedon offers different models and equips some tables with a glass top, others with a closed laminate top. This collection also includes individual sofas, armchairs, stools and loungers for comfortable sunbathing. The MU series is designed specifically for outdoor use, so a matching protective cover is available for each module. However, the furniture looks equally beautiful in living rooms or in the winter garden, where it creates a very cozy atmosphere, similar to rattan furniture.
