Jean-Marie Massaud: pure emotion

Born in France in 1966, Jean-Marie Massaud studied at the famous "Les Ateliers Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle" in Paris and in 2000 founded the successful "Studio Massaud" together with Daniel Pouzet, which has designed furniture and accessories for many well-known labels. Massaud's work has won numerous awards, including the Compasso d'Oro (1995-98) and the "Designer of the Year" award at the 2007 Paris Furniture Fair, as well as the ELLE Decoration International Award, also in 2007.

For Massaud, it's all about creating emotion; he designs furniture to convey a sense of security - creating an open refuge where life's beautiful moments can be appreciated.
