Eagle Products - Textile quality with tradition

When Franz Barth founded his textile company, originally called "Franz Barth Wollwaren-Weberei" (Franz Barth Woolen Weaving Mill), in Treuen in the Vogtland region of Germany in 1893, he certainly had no idea of the success story his small cloth manufacturing company would one day write. With the move to the Bavarian town of Hof an der Saale, the takeover by Arthur Eichler and the change of the name to Eagle Products, the family business succeeded in making the leap to the international market. What has remained constant to this day is the excellent quality - skilful design and the claim to use only the highest quality natural fibers and to deliver only products that pass all quality tests impeccably to the customers.

Eagle Products - Made in Germany

Thanks to its location in the Upper Franconian region with its long-established textile industry, Eagle Products is also able to have all work steps carried out in the immediate vicinity of its headquarters. Because part of the plaids and pillows production is taken over by numerous regional small and micro entrepreneurs, Eagle Products actively contributes to securing jobs in the region and keeping traditional manufacturing techniques alive. Even though Eagle Products textiles bear the foreign name for Eagle: they are "Made in Germany" through and through.

Eagle Products Plaids - Elaborate Production

Until a plaid of the Eagle Products brand is allowed to leave the manufactory and finds its way to your home, it wanders through up to 20 different hands, since many of the numerous work steps, such as pulling the threads into the looms or tying the fringes, can only be done by hand and require a maximum of intuition and experience. The predicate "handmade" is therefore much more than just an empty phrase when it comes to Eagle Products plaids.

Eagle Products blankets & pillows - natural materials of the highest quality

Since Eagle Products exclusively processes pure natural fibers such as lambswool, silk, cashmere or mohair and these are subject to natural variations that can only be partially compensated for, there is no Eagle Products plaid that looks completely like another. You are therefore guaranteed to receive a genuine one-of-a-kind piece. By the way, the special softness and suppleness of the blankets and their voluminous appearance, which are characteristic of all Eagle Products plaids, are achieved by using natural thistles instead of metal combs when combing the raw angora and mohair fibers. A real natural product!
