Lanterns & storm lamps: illuminate garden and home in style

Lanterns and storm lamps are popular garden accessories that significantly influence the ambience during twilight and darkness. Both products are more or less high-closed vessels that provide light to their surroundings through their apertures. This is achieved, for example, through slits or holes, but glass as a material also allows light to be emitted to the outside. Inside the lanterns and storm lamps from manufacturers such as Lambert and Conmoto can usually be placed candles. However, lanterns are also available with electric bulbs, in times of increased environmental protection preferably with EEK A+. While the function of lanterns is usually clearly outlined, many lanterns can alternatively be used as vases or decorative vessels for indoor and outdoor use.

Decorative garden lighting for atmospheric ambience

Lanterns and storm lamps can be used both indoors and outdoors. As garden lighting, they create a cozy atmosphere, especially in the dark. These accessories come in different forms, sizes and designs and are made of very different materials. In addition to glass and iron, aluminum and stainless steel are especially popular. A concise difference between lanterns and storm lamps is that the former have a handle. Thus, unlike lanterns, they can be placed not only on the floor or tables, but also to hang. On the color level, it is tones such as black, gray, gold and silver that often give these garden accessories an elegant look. Even unused - that is, without a burning candle inside - decorative lanterns and storm lamps attract attention.
