Furniture and accessories for the special living ambience and for more individuality Lambert offers for almost fifty years. Typical for the traditional company are contemporary designs, often inspired by foreign cultures, combined with selected materials that are handcrafted in small manufactories. A nice example is the collection Zanzibar, consisting of three different vessels, which are versatile. Inspired by African pottery, designer El Schmid created the vessels with their simple, powerful lines. Different in appearance and size, they can function as vases, flower pots, umbrella stands or even as solitary vessels, creating an effective accent in any room.

Characteristic of African vessel art are simple lines, thick-walled bodies and stepped cross grooves that create an interesting play of shadows. Zanzibar vessels are made of high quality ceramic and coated with an oil-based dark glaze. This is finished with a lacquer after firing, which creates the rough, antique-looking surface. The two vases in the Lambert collection are available in two sizes and colors. Since the ceramic vessels are only partially waterproof, a glass or plastic insert is recommended when using them as vases or planters. They should also be protected from frost.
