The Wise One - rustic and exquisite at the same time

The lamps of the collection are so unusual because their shade is made of a cylindrical block of ash wood. For this purpose, the wood is carefully selected for its color and grain. Each of these wood blocks is finely milled inside and outside. Only on the outside, a longitudinal strip of the wood remains in its original form, emphasizing the individual character of the processed trees. This processing combines the naturalness of the material with the experience of traditional craftsmanship. The design of the lamps is underlined by a wafer-thin steel coating on the inside, which is available in natural white and spring green.

Design and manufacture

Both lamps in The Wise One collection were designed by Lithuanian designer Ieva Kaleja. He also created the designs for mammalampa's Bride, Queen and Duchess lamps. In the production of its lamps, mammalampa still relies on traditional handwork, in addition to the use of modern machine technology.
