Purmundus lamps

The lights from Purmundus are extremely successful examples from the creative ideas workshop. Here, the wide range of possibilities offered by 3D printing is impressively demonstrated. The small, finely structured luminaire bodies are constructed from a special plastic using 3D printing.

Purmundus - fascinating luminaires in 3D printing

In the minimalist design, attention is primarily focused on the small lampshade, which in the case of the floor lamps from Purmundus sits on a narrow flexible metal wire that ends in a small base. The structure of the lampshade in each case shows an interesting play of light and a fascinating shadow cast. Incidentally, the LED lights are compatible with all lampshades of the SLS series.

Purmundus - successful symbiosis of design and mechanics

The floor lamp Cynara SLS combines successful design with an intelligent mechanism. The lampshade is reminiscent of a flower with fine leaves arranged in a ring, which can be opened more or less by a rotating mechanism for individual light variations.

Influences of modern architecture are evident in the Levels SLS floor lamp. The light that shines through the spaces between the individual layers acts as their supports. Here, the irregular spacing creates an exciting interplay of light and shadow.

The Petala SLS floor lamp, whose design is inspired by flowers and plant structures, is also characterized by an intelligent mechanism: The integrated screw mechanism makes it possible to interlock the "leaves" and thus individually adjust the shape of the lampshade. Even the professional world pays tribute to Purmundus: The design of the Petala SLS received the award "Special Mention" at the German Design Award 2015.
