Robbe & Berking - traditional silverware

The quality brand Robbe & Berking has existed for almost 150 years. It was launched as early as 1874 by its founder Nicolaus Christoph Robbe and has been owned by the family ever since. After modest early years, the silversmith Robert Berking married into the Robbe family: thus the Robbe & Berking brand was born. After the merger of the two silversmiths, the company grew rapidly. From a financial slump during World War 2, Robbe & Berking quickly recovered and became a world-renowned brand. Despite all the expansion, the unconditional loyalty to the highest quality and the love of craftsmanship and perfection has remained. Today, Robbe & Berking silverware is still made according to the founder's motto: "Others may do it cheaper, but no one should do it better than us."

Robbe & Berking - interesting cutlery lines

In our online store you can get the extensive range of cutlery from Robbe & Berking. The noble silverware of the Alta collection impresses with its timeless beauty. It is simply designed, unfussy, of simple elegance and has won several international awards. The Alt-Faden cutlery, on the other hand, adopts a traditional shape with its discreet decorative rim, without appearing cluttered: This cutlery quotes in noble, restrained style history. The Art Deco cutlery series is delicately inspired by the 1920s sense of form. All these collections are full of character, but find very successful formal solutions in the individual cutlery pieces. To ensure that these timeless series will give you pleasure for a long time to come, Robbe & Berking provides a repurchase guarantee until at least 2040.

Robbe & Berking - high quality craftsmanship made of silver and silver plated

Each Robbe & Berking collection is available in heavy 925 sterling silver as well as in the 150 solid silver plated version. The measurement of silver plating refers to the mass in grams on 24 dm² surface; usually a silver plating of 90; 150 solid silver plated therefore means a particularly heavy and strong silver plating. All Robbe & Berking cutlery is still manufactured in Germany, at the company's headquarters in Flensburg. Great importance is attached to quality and precise workmanship. Despite machine support, many operations must be carried out in intensive manual labor. All cutlery is dishwasher safe.
