Almost exclusively European hardwoods of the best quality are used, such as oak, walnut or, for example, the interestingly grained sycamore maple wood. American walnut, among others, is imported from the USA. The woods are carefully selected and processed in their natural state as far as possible. The priority is to bring out the natural structure of the wood. Naturalness is the first priority in the processing of the precious woods. In most cases, the wood is only oiled so that the natural appearance is optimally preserved; Scholtissek itself offers suitable care products.
