The name ClassiCon stands for home decor at the highest level. In the carefully cultivated portfolio of ClassiCon you will find only furniture that - in style and workmanship - are classics or have the potential to become such. Without any doubt, one of these is the collection of floor lamps conceived by the designer duo Rossana Hu and Lyndon Neri in their Shanghai office. This series Lantern Light, of which we present to you here the middle floor lamp, skillfully combines a modern concept with traditional echoes.
The floor lamp is excellently crafted in brass. Two finishes are available: natural or burnished; both are clear lacquered; this version here is clear lacquered. A circular disc supports the slender lamp rod, on which sits the hand-blown, slightly gray-tinted lamp glass that encloses a cylindrical diffuser of satin-finished opal glass. A delicate fixture extending from the lamp rod holds the lamp glass from above. This shade design and the LED light give the dimmable floor lamp a very pleasant light cast. The lamp has felt glides to protect the floor.
