Wittmann side table leather red / marble
Wittmann Möbelwerkstätten is an Austrian manufacturer of exclusive furniture. Founded in 1896 in Lower Austria, the company gained international prominence by the middle of the last century at the latest. The fine and original style of Wittmann furniture was also significantly influenced by the fact that this company collaborates with interesting artists and designers.
For example, the side table leather red / marble is a creation of the Spanish artist and designer Jaime Hayon, who is clearly influenced by Viennese modernism and creates new forms from very different materials. This is also the case with the side table designed by Hayon. The corpus of this table consists of a cylinder from which rises a cone that widens towards the top, on top of which lies a round top made of fine-grained grey marble as a finishing touch. The body of the table, whose construction is made of wood, is covered with fine dark red nappa leather. To protect the floor, this side table has glides made of Teflon.
This original side table fits into many modern interiors, but thanks to its independent conception, it is also nice to use as a pretty individual piece.
